Education: PhD in Biochemistry

Research Projects: Being a part of an active research group, I am currently working on developing therapeutic gene therapy for treating/ preventing AMD (Age Related Macular Degeneration) , IRD’S (Inherited Retinal Degenerations), Retinitis Pigmentosa-28.

Research Interest: Gene therapy, AMD, Retinitis Pigmentosa and Translational Ophthalmology

Career Ambition: Developing therapeutic strategies for preventing or treating eye diseases.

  • Awarded ICMR-SRF fellowship from the Indian Council of medical research (2017-2020)
  • Qualified in TS-SET for lectureship (2017)
